“Liberal Republicans always lose.”
“Which is why Romney can’t win against Obama.”

Amen, plus could he really be an improvement over Obama in the long term? I don’t think so.

Syncro - the following soapbox speech is NOT directed at you:

This is Free Republic, the home of the Conservative Revolution to overthrow a tyranical establishment republican oligarchy. It is time to let conservatives run the party and ensure conservatives represent the party. NO MORE BACK OF THE BUS IN THE GOP FOR CONSERVATIVES. We are the true solid base of the party and it is TIME FOR OUR VOICE TO BE HEARD AND FOLLOWED. Candidates like Romney shouldn’t even be allowed to run....They definitely shouldn’t be allowed to buy an election. So, NO SUPPORT FOR ROMNEY OR THOSE THAT GIVE HIM AID OR COMFORT. No prisoners in this revolution and no quarter. The black flag has been raised. Jim Robinson will go down in history as the man that fired the second shot heard around the world when he declared “NO ROMNEY.” The second American Revolution has begun. It is about the heart and soul of the GOP and the American public. There will be no blood shed in this revolution, but there will be political casualties....Romney is the first to go down.

Anne Coulter, et. Al. continue to support him at your own risk. You had better “count the cost.”
