I grew up in the Bay Area during the 60's, when the real Black Panthers were formed. What I remember most is what they did to strengthen their communities. I'm not downplaying their militarism, but today's New Black Panthers are simply wannabees.
When push comes to shove, they'll tuck their tails and run.
