It does not.
Rabbit really does taste a lot like chicken and all the meat is *white*. Squirrel needs to be tenderized, as it is chewy and all the meat is dark and it tastes just like you think game meat tastes, but usually doesn’t.
I have had both. I will never turn down rabbit and I have to be very hungry to eat squirrel and even then, I really hope it was pressure cooked and if not, at least marinated for a decent interval.
