1. Armed v. unarmed (correct)
2. Police told him not to follow but he did (wrong)
3. Scream was probably Treyvon (says who?)
4. Pursuing obviates application of stand your ground. He can not avail himself of its protection.(he was being held down and beaten)
5. Zimmerman seen straddling Treyvons body.(BS. Where did you see this)
6. No evident significant injury to Zimmerman despite claim he was so injured.(what did you want? Brains spewing from his head?)
7. Girlfriends testimony that Treyvon felt he was being followed. Treyvon Treyvon turning on Martin, esp under FL law, is fine if he felt threatened.(Beating someone because they may be following you is ok in Florida?)
Your first point was fine. Rule #1. Never go to a gun fight with a knife. Or in this case with your fists.
Other than that you pretty much have a large case of FAIL!!!
I think you are confusing the law with facts and justice.
For all we know, Zimmerman said something totally stupid to the authorities while trying to be “helpful”. That could be all they need to file charges. He hasn’t exactly been exhibiting the behavior of somebody cagily playing the legal game.
I agree that the “evidence” we’ve been presented with points toward self defense, but what we see and hear could be a lot different from what Corey has to work with.
What the law says and what’s just and right are often pretty different things.
saleman for the win!
