Back in 1971 I answered the doorbell to find some guy standing there.\
He introduced himself as a local member of the American Communist party.
I told him that I was going to get my shotgun and that he had just 3 seconds to get off my porch and 15 seconds to get out of my sight.
He was off like a shot and I never saw him again.
If I tried the same thing today, I’d probably be in jail, with a smile on my face, but in jail.
