I actually eat it. A lot. Yes, it smells like dead ##*@& #wat, but it grows on you. It's no worse than the kimchee that I'm making now, or the sauerkraut that I started at the same time.

I can do things like that because I'm single. ;)

LOL You’re tougher than me. The closest thing to that stuff I use is sauerkraut on Hebrew National Hot dogs.
