The tea party movement is an effort to get the GOP to be a small-government, conservative party.
I think that effort should be continued rather than abandoned.
We have some good new people in Congress and some up-and-coming future conservative leaders.
Compared to where we were after the 2006 and 2008 elections we are doing ok.
I do not think it is wise to give up on the GOP.
The tea party and conservative values should always be at the forefront, and we should fight to keep conservative principles at the forefront of the Republican party. But millions of people have voted for Romney and he will win the primary. I will vote Romney and work my butt off to keep him held to conservative ideas and Principles. We have a much better chance of holding his feet to the fire if we are his constituency. Obama just laughs at us and does what he wants.
Maybe one day the Tea or Conservative party will be able to put up a viable candidate of it's own. But the time is not now.
I will not stamp my foot down and say I'm sitting this one out. Obama will destroy this country if reelected. And even if a true conservative won in 2016, there’d be no constitution left to uphold.
Agree with you. The judges alone are a reason to vote for ANY candidate over Obama. To think otherwise is purely foolish.
