PS: you appear to be on the side of tyranny.
I have had dealings with the City of Roswell both legal and personal, and have always found them fairly reasonable. The mayor is a pretty good guy, long time local roots, a little bit eccentric (collects log cabins and runs his own small sawmill). His wife's an artist. He doesn't strike me as the tyrant type.
Of course, I could be wrong, but before you just run with the idea that this was "tyranny", you might consider some other points of view, particularly since the original account posted here is to say the least highly colored.
Whoa, back the horses up here. AAM is posting her direct observations and recollections of neighborhood discussions from when she lived a few houses down from the man. You appear to be putting all of your faith in the news article and challenging any who posit their discussions or direct observations as "hearsay" unless it' in print?
I've not seen anywhere in AAM's comments where she's coming down on side or the other, she's posting additional information, some contradictory to the article in question and it should be taken into account before folks embarass themselves or starting casting ad hominems around.
