He actually called Jay Mariotti, a real lame-ass columnist here in Chicago (and recently outed as a major-league liar), a “fag” and took a lot of heat for it. As if gay men would even touch a women-beating dirt bag like Mariotti anyway....
Marriotti was a terrific columnist. Even if he had personal shortcomings.
