Yes, I have read the Old Testament. Have you read the New Testament? If so, I have one very simple question going back to my first post, so please don’t go into other subjects:
Would Christ consider it a ‘better’ world because this 14 year old is dead? He would not blame the homeowner. I’d bet that he would scream at the kids parents, politicians, and entitlement programs that induce the absentee parenting that result in most of these kids. But he would not consider it a ‘better’ world because this kid is dead. That was my only point.

It would probably bother me after the fact, but would have done exactly what the home owner did without hesitation.
