Blue Hats in the U.S. ??? Never happen, cause all those troops are in all those African nations keeping the peace and preventing the 'locals' from chopping each other up with machete's and taking the AK-47's away from all the locals.
Huh?....They're not?....Who would have thought...?..Oh....OK...Well, I'll be, who would have guessed?....Hey, Admin, delete this post since all I've said is not true.

Were you ever to Bethesda Hospital? Those are the guards at the gate. They are NOT Americans nor dressed in American uniforms.
No it is not an accident in memory, I have been there numerous times with my wife for Cancer related tests and treatments. We also got to stay across the street (don't remember the name of the base in the BOQ (played on my dads past service and my daughters current service.) That was maned by MP's at the gate and at the BOQ. Relatively nice place and better than a hotel for sure. But then for me it was comforting ('cause I grew up on bases till I was like 12 or 13.
Shock my wife how after the first time through the gate the MP saluted our pass and waved us through (professional courtesy?) And I don't know if it was my family connections or the admitting Officer MD (a captain I think) who I think had set us up at the base across the street.
My wife said the guards at Bethesda made her uncomfortable as they talk.
ed among themselves in their own language. Only a few spoke proper well enunciated English.
They rest reminded me of a border crossing in Africa. However they were NOT US MP's. And some did have automatic side arms.
