The IRS has just received new software that will identify anyone that doesn’t have Government Approved Medical Insurance using the insurance’s own databases. If anyone didn’t have insurance for even 1 day then they receive the IRS penalty. Any company that doesn’t offer give insurance to a new employee from day one gets the $2000 IRS penalty.

This is one reason I do not have a doctor now. I was removed from the Military TriCare Prime on my birthday and medicare notwithstanding, I do not have a doctor..been looking around but will not permit my health records to be sent to the effing IRS.
BUT....healthcare insurance FORCED...is NOT a TAX....but the IRS is IN charge of penalties for NOT buying it....YEAH...Alinsky would be proud.

Congress objects? That’s all they can do? Object? We are now living in a dictatorship and most of the people are either okay with it or don’t realize it. Makes me wonder how many people actually DO vote for Chavez.

This is all soooooo wonderful. All these mandates and the IRS involved. And then you have a bill that passed in the Senate by a large margin (reportedly) that prevents someone who owes the IRS more than $50K from having a passport. Is there due process in this? Who knows! Obamacare is still in process despite the law being before the courts. Divine intervention is needed!

Also, I'd like to know if this affects part-time as well as fulltime employees(?) I need to know which employees I can plan on keeping next year, and which areas of business I need to extricate myself from.
There are certain very-low-margin areas of business we pursue just to keep long time employees with an income source. It looks like I may have to shut all that down. :( (Oh, well, I guess they can get Uncle Sam to support their families.)
I've also been in employment negotiations with another young graduate. This will cause me to make him a less attractive offer. Also, for those employees we keep I guess we could just forego raises for a year and recover these additional costs.
