Santorum won a state before Newt. This makes no sense to me. Newt finished 4th in both Iowa and New Hampshire and wasn’t competitive in either state. Santorum won Iowa.

Yes, no one paid any attention to Santorum and everyone knew he was never a threat. He won’t be the nominee..it was Newt they wanted to take out including the media elites.Romney’s super pacs spent millions attacking Newt in Iowa, millions attacking Newt in Fla and Newt still came in 2nd in Fla but due to sneaky tricks he didnt get any delegates.
It is not old news that Santorum endorsed Mitt 3 yrs ago..and as for the creme de la creme endorsing Newt..he has more of the true conservatives than Santorum.
