Sign targeted 17-year-old Trayvon Martin
DETROIT, Mich. (WOOD) - A road sign in Detroit displayed a racial slur early Monday morning.
According to WDIV , the sign referenced Florida teen, Trayvon Martin, who was killed in February by neighborhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman.
Michigan State Police said the sign, along I-94 and Addison, was hacked around 1 a.m.
It has been taken down.
“The sign said “Trayvon a Ni@@er” but with the “g”s. Control box open and the keyboard was missing. Someone knew how to operate it.”
Someone with bad English skills too. It should read “is a” not just “a”.
Not that I am for name calling but at least use proper English and not make yourself look like a total idiot.
While I certainly hope you are correct, I am not fully convinced. We’ll see.
I pray people wake up and don't fall into this hate the president and his minions are pushing.
The sign could probably display only a limited number of characters. The “is” was dropped for brevity.

We watch a lot of judge shows. There has been a major slip in English in some parts of the country. Black, white, or some combination of the above all say “Out da house” or “She da bomb” or “graduate high school” or “dey got out da car and had to go to hospital”.
It’s as if “the”, “of” and “is” are missing from the English language. And I’m not talking about blacks exclusively. I hear the kids in my neighborhood speaking the same way.

Considering that “a” is ghetto slang for “is a,” it proves that a ghetto rat did the “prank.”
