A simmple question from Weird Guy to Martin and perhaps a statement explaining that he was Neighborhood Watchman, would have been suffice when first encountering Martin.

But Wierd guy calls 911 instead, as he noticed Martin was walking down Retreat View heading towards the clubhouse. Martin noticed Weird Guy staring at him from a vehicle which was sitting at the intersection of Retreat View Circle and Twin Trees.

Martin was at the clubhouse under the canopy being stared at by Weird Guy then left.

Weird Guy then chose either to turn around or back up to then follow down Twin Trees using his vehicle. Martin notices Weird Guy is now following him and starts to run.

After parking at curve on Twin Trees. Weird Guy then chose to exit his vehicle leaving his keys in the ignition and follow on foot, all the while ignoring the dispatcher, ignoring the Neighborhood Watch guidlines outlined in his manual, ignoring Wendy Dorival, the police officer who coordinated his neighborhood watch program and everything she had told him in September 2011. Added up = Stuck-on-Stupid.

I wouldn't be suprised if Weird Guy didn't learn anything from his mandatory anger-management counseling either, as he certainly appears on tape to gradually getting more frustrated and angry. Add some fear to the equation = Heat-of-Passion.

Armed + Stuck-on-Stupid + Heat-of-Passion = A deadly combination.

I'm sure anyones run-in with this guy at that moment could have ended in a similar situation. Or the Stuck-on-Stupid Weird Guy's injuries would have required much more than just a few minutes of SFD's treatment in the back seat of a squad car.

Nothing like having your own agenda. Fantasize much? Calling Zimmerman “weird guy” kind of gives your prejudice away, doesn’t it? The truth is, Martin could have simply gone on to the house he was staying in and nothing would have happened. Instead he chose to act like a black male hoodlum and get the guy(Zimmerman)he thought had “dissed” him”. This stupidity on Martin’s part cost him his life. BTW, Zimmerman was also taken to the hospital. His wounds were not “taken care of by the EMTs” but merely treated prior to going to the hospital. The fact that he had wounds at all, shows that the shooting was justified.

Seems to me you’re the one who is the “weird guy, stuck on stupid”. Thinking is not a high priority for you, I see. I do see you like to run your mouth, without anything of actual substance coming out of it.

"all the while ignoring the dispatcher"

That would be the case if the dispatcher said don't follow Martin. But he didn't. When the dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following Martin and Zimmerman said yes, the dispatcher said "you don't have to do that."

Read the transcript.

We live in a world where people say "drop the gun, now" if they want you to drop the gun. They don't say "you don't have to hold the gun." They say "step out of your vehicle." They don't say "you don't have to stay in your vehicle." It's not just semantics. "Don't follow him" and "you don't have to do that" are two completely different things. The next time you're pulled over for speeding and the law enforcement officer walks up to your car, see if he or she says "put both hands on the wheel where I can see them" or "you don't have to hold your hands in a place where I can't see them."

I'm open to speculation from all sides, but not if you need to intentionally distort what the dispatcher said so that you can claim that Zimmerman was 'all the while ignoring the dispatcher." Have an agenda, do you?
