A collective look of dismay wash over all their faces as they realized life was going on as per usual. Whitey wasn't afraid. There had been a few unsuccessful attempts to loot Beverly Center, but the cops were holding the line at La Cienega Bl.
I have no doubt there is a substantial undercurrent of those just itching for another opportunity to get their loot on. But it's strictly opportunistic greed, and their focus will be on retailers.
