I don’t understand. You let an incident with some nosy neighbor on a case influence how you think about defending yourself? I would urge you to reconsider. Ever hear “better to be tried by twelve than carried by six?”

Thanks for the concern. Since I don’t work as a PI and don’t live/work in a high crime area anymore, the need to carry is dimished. So, in my particular case, concealed carry is not deemed necessary (my risk vs. benefit analysis). However, should the situation change where the risk vs. benifit analysis would indicate a concealed carry appropriate...I will get licensed and carry. I live in a different state now, and have never pursued a self defense permit. I probably should get one even if I currently chose not to carry. Things can change quickly.
