There is a certain symmetry to the Obama agenda.

On the one hand, he accuses his enemies (and the Republicns ARE the enemy) of every sly, underhanded trick directed at undermining the rights of women, while on the other hand he embraces the most reactionary, muisogynistic ideology in the present-day world. Women should feel fortunate, I suppose, that they are only being driven back to the 13th Century.

Not yet ready for 7th Century attitudes about gender roles.

That is coming in a couple more generations.
