“He was in critical but stable condition at Kings County Hospital on Sunday morning.”
Pull the plug on this psycho and save the taxpayers a few million dollars!!
Foxworth's “weapons cache” was composed of a Browning Mk III 9mm Hi-Power pistol (14-shots), a High Standard Sentinel 9-shot .22 DA revolver, and a Ruger Mini-14 rifle with a pistol grip stock (butt stock removed), a barrel cutoff just ahead of the gas block, and a 20-round magazine. The Mini-14 is hardly a “military assault rifle” — but this is New York and the writers aren't very gun savvy.
Aside from the attempted murder charge, Mr. Foxworth also qualifies for: (1) a felon in possession of firearms (10 years, $10K fine); (2) possession of a firearm with defaced serial number (10 years, $10K fine); (3) possession of a sawed-off rifle (10 years, $10K fine). If the prosecutors do this right, Foxworth won't see the outside of prison bars until he's 80 years old.
