“What kind of cancer does he have?”

I am not a doctor, but my father died of cancer of the bone marrow (Myeloma) and it is an awful way to go. It is very painful and your bones fall apart. He will be lucky if it’s spread to his colon and that takes him sooner, I would not wish Myeloma on anyone ( well almost anyone). Treatment now isn’t a lot better than it was 35 years ago. It is always a terminal disease.

(CNN) — Cancer has spread in Hugo Chavez’s colon, spine and bones, and the Venezuelan president could have only nine months to live, Spain’s ABC newspaper reported Monday, citing medical records provided by unidentified intelligence sources.
“His health appears to be deteriorating at a more rapid pace. Clearly there has been metastasis in the bones and the spine,” the ABC report says, citing what it said were doctors’ observations after medical tests December 30.

In the end, Chavez will probably be zonked out on morphine because cancers like this cause intense pain. With as widespread dispersal as this, 9 months is very generous. I'd go six months tops. Hugo had better be making his peace with God now, but Communists and atheists aren't supposed to believe. Well, Hugo, good luck with that — you will need it if you're on the wrong side.
