I was surprised to see that Royal Albert is no longer making fine dinnerware. If I want the mugs, I have to get them when they become available at a "replacement of out-of-production pieces" place. They have a mailing list, and when the item becomes available, they send a notice.

I have no idea what they will cost, but I do know that in 1980, a single platter was $90. They're probably out of my reach at this point. Sigh...

I'll have to go back to being content that I have the whole set.
