We cranky old loners have to stick together on the holidays, right Joe?
Hubby and I are just puttering around the house. For dinner, we're having
a lamb roast with mint sauce (MIL's recipe), new potatoes, and peas.
Back when our families were still alive, we used to color Batik eggs. You
draw on the eggs in melted wax, and then dip them in the dye. You can
dye them three or four times, drawing patterns on them between each dip,
and you end up with multi-colored, patterned eggs.
They can be quite beautiful.
Now, I'm afraid that I don't even dig out the decorations anymore. It's just us.

The day is just about over here ,TOL, so you cranky old loners dont have to be quite so alone.
Have been here, there, and everywhere today. Just as hectic as Easter always is, But not as hectic as CHRISTmas.

Hi TOL. Best wishes for a wonderful Easter to you and the Hubby.
After late, late, early, early Easter services I got up too early to BBQ a turkey. Apple smoke and six hours later it should be ready, and I know we’ll be ready too. Will share pics, if worthy... No eggs, but a lb. of See’s soft centers are in a box. Enjoy the day.
