I'm sorry, and as much as I hate to admit it but Marine Sergeant Gary Stein was wrong. Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) prohibits disloyal statements toward a superior (either enlisted or officer) and anything to the prejudice of good order. The part of “Good Order and Discipline” in the military is first and foremost, always. You don't know how many times I had to bite my tongue during the Carter and Clinton presidencies, but I made my voice heard in the ballot box.

Yup.. and the ONLY time I mentioned anything political, was the night I was in the NCO club and Clinton won his first term election... I told my friends that I was NOT re-enlisting...
