Kraft Foods joined Coca-Cola in bowing to consumer pressure this week to cut ties with the American Legislative Exchange Council, a conservative lobbying group that has recently backed controversial voter ID and so-called "stand your ground" laws.

What are you saying, the driver’s an idiot with no line of responsibility to the company he works for?
# the gag orders, Oshkalaboomboom.
I live in Las Vegas and don’t think we have one. I use Smith’s Kroger brand a lot. Seldom buy name brands on anything..Thanks!
This appears to be an Axelrod-type attack on the Koch brothers. A local paper contained an AP report today about Coke and actually mentioned the Koch brothers and their support of conservative legislation.
Wish Breitbart were here.
Please don’t yell at the driver/retail rep. He goes back to a warehouse that’s supplied by a bottler—all local employees. Who is he going to “report” your dissatisfaction to? His dispatcher? The guys who load his truck?
Retail delivery/merchandising isn’t easy work...having somebody chew you out, on a retail sales floor, will probably bring harm to the raises/bonus of the driver as the store management may incorrectly assume that the driver did/said something to offend HIS store’s customer.
Seriously...boycott away. Write or call the Kraft 800 lines and websites—but leave the lowly deliveryman alone!
One must give the left credit. Their power coupled with corporate cowardice makes many leftist victories.
Well who just wouldnt quit a job, in the Obama economy, because he delivers Coke or Kraft products? I’m sure his mortgage holder, etc, will be very understanding of his “politcal statement” and won’t foreclose if he misses a few payments while looking for that “new employer.”
I don’t know if I can find acceptable alternatives to Jell-O pudding, A1, and Mircle Whip, but I can find alternate brands to the rest.
Flood the Board with emails!
No need to yell or start a fight, just inform. If enough people do that and sales drop word will trickle up. What are you, married to a delivery driver? If you are accept my sympathies in advance.
All of that stuff is crap. Makes it real easy to boycott.
Damn, this hits right in the cheeseburger, but that’s it. No more Kraft, no more Coke. Oh well, I’ll spring for some real cheese or do without. Kraft and stick it right up their velveta.
Thanks for the list.
I am so sick of cowards.
Just read a few of the responses to my simple idea of letting the company people know and you can see why Dems think Repubs are a bunch of wimps. You can let an employee know you're dissatisfied with their company without throwing a bag of feces all over them and still make it effective.
Oh Crap!
I loves me some green and black chocolate... oh well.
I just contacted Walgreen’s to let them know I would no longer be a customer, because of their boycott of Rush Limbaugh.
I stopped buying Kraft a while back.
There’s always an alternative. When Pepsi was found to be in that bunch experimenting with aborted fetal tissue to create flavor enhancers, I switched to Coke. Now what do I do? I’ll buy the STORE brand.
To illustrate....Years ago, when my wife and I discovered Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda, we thought it was the greatest thing since whitewall tires. Then one day I conducted a blind taste test. The winner? The store brand of Cream Soda! Dr. Brown’s was 3rd as I recall.
Now, as for Kraft? Hellman’s or Duke’s are just as good, and Kraft and Coke can both go pound sand!
No one suggest that he quit without having another option.
I see nothing wrong with telling anyone that I do not
support the company that they work for.
