I looked at the numbers and found them just fine. I’m sure everyone here wants something for free but FREE Republic costs $$ to run.
If you are having hard times, like many today, spend it on your needs! FR will survive.
If and when times improve, throw some cash into the pot for FR.
Most of all, STAY!
We need all the old posters to stop the new members from taking over.

I can't donate a lot and I can't donate every time but I do donate when I can. In fact, I've donated between fundraisers. If I ever magically become wealthy I'll become a big monthly donor.

Most of all, STAY!Oh, here we go, begging the crybabies to "stay, please stay!!!"
Gawd. what a poor excuse for an opus this is. An opus used to require a flame suit.
Now they serve you milk and cookies and then get on their knees and beg.

If I can donate, which I did last time, anyone can donate.
I would assume Freepers on a budget,as I am,are well aware that you can give up spending on something to give to something else.
That’s what I learned early on-—I was a Depression baby whose father died very young.Going without was routine for many years.
