Let me add one thing. We are lways expected to ‘reach across the aisle’, but all the Republicans have gotten from expecting the same courtesy is some pathetic, purple lipped, insidious, ghetto thug sneering, “We won”.
Yup. And that reaching has to stop.
This is a subject I could go on about (and have ;) for days. But in a nutshell think of these random examples..
“Family” dinners/holiday get-togethers. Often nothing but grief. Why? Because some idiot/idiots there have to perform the lib song and dance and wreck it for everyone...so theese events become points of misery rather than happy occasions.
So why go? Perhaps if we told ‘Mom” that we refused and WHY, she might skip the next invite for that person and 99% of the ‘family’ could enjoy themselves.
Workplace - Why stand at the water cooler (If you HAVE to work with libs at all) and take their BS? If a boss allows libs to run rampant or is one, is it not better for the conservative to seek other, even SELF employment ASAP?
Church - they have gotten so lib because conservatives and truly believing people turn the other cheek rather than tell them “No friggin way will you spew your crap here”. If parishoners stood for their beliefs and stopped catering to the libs around them, the ‘change’ would be spectacular.
It just tweaks my shorts that we DO have options - the option to not further embolden them through our continuing cowardace (afraid of offending friends/family).
Yet many make unsupportable justifications why “Welllllll I HAVE to get along for the sake of XXXXXX...”
No. You do not.
