The entire point of my post was that you insulted ALL Westerners because of the actions of this one couple. That’s painting with a very broad brush IMHO.
Your twins sound wonderful and good luck to your nephew.
Peace!

... My understanding is that if the doctors have advance warning of a seriously premature birth there are medications they can give to enhance/speed up lung development. ...
You are correct. I worked with someone whose wife developed severe appendicitis at a point where it was too soon for a cesarean because of poor lung development. She was hooked up to an IV with antibiotics (in case the appendix burst) and given medication to accelerate lung development. After only a few days they were able to perform the cesarean and appendectomy. The baby spent a few days in an incubator and was fine thereafter. The appendix burst as they were preparing to remove it. One week later baby and mother were thriving.

You might even want your other children to interact with the baby, like that weirdo extremist Santorum.

That’s a darling picture. I’ll have to try that with Kathleen when she can sit up.

My Mom carried my brother for another 5 weeks after her water broke.
Doc said he would die...he didn’t.

I assume that Nebraska would have had her (or her doctor) put in jail if she had gone to another state, to exercise her RIGHT.
