You might want to wipe the oatmeal off your chin, Psycho man, and go out and do something for a change other than sit at your computer and attack Conservatives on this site.

It might do you some good to get a little fresh air.
You shoulda been banned long ago.

“My” God? There’s only one. What are you, an atheist?

God is against baby-killing and those who enable it. He views homosexuality as an abomination. As desperately as I want Obama out, I can’t take that side.

Maybe none of the other candidates have the courage to call Obama what he is either. The point is is that if you're so sensitive to losing votes, you won't do more difficult things that require even more courage because they will lose even more votes. Recent examples are raising the debt ceiling and the payroll tax cut. Do you think Romney would have opposed the payroll tax cut or raising the debt ceiling? Maybe the others wouldn't either, but I'm sure Romney wouldn't have. He goes with the flow and avoids appearing extreme at all cost.

I agree and I am more than ready to start a real TEA Party. I'd rather seize control of the gop but it is looking like that organization is so infected that the only cure is to burn it out.

Don’t worry, sooner or later, you will eventually grow up and learn how to behave like an adult.

Rhetoric is style, not substance, and challengers don't pass legislation with their rhetoric. Elections are about winning votes, and the rhetoric you use during a campaign should be designed to do that. No purpose is served in losing votes due to rhetoric.

But passing legislation is completely different, because even if it costs you votes, you've managed to achieve something.

Look at Obama. He ran and won by mouthing vague platitudes so as not to offend anyone, and actually conned some Republicans into thinking he was just this moderate guy. But then when he got into office, he managed to pass a lot of substantive legislation and regulation that angered a lot of people.

The fact is that such a strategy works.

MM, i have volunteered to computer call for Santorum. I won’t life a finger to help out Toomey next time he is up...he was almost giddy in his endorsement of Obamney.

This is going to get ugly here in PA after Easter. No real or even imaginary support for Mittens...just party regs who will show up; my guess primary will be in the 30s voter wise. I wish we still had “statesman”’(newt?!?) who will put principle over party. I pray i get surprised.

You have to do what it is that you think is correct. I used to reason the way that you do and I gave FReepers hell for not voting for mccain but I have been an activist for decades and I have given way more money and time to the republicans than I should have and way more than they deserved.

I have been a hated commodity of the gop/e the entire time. The gop/e hates Conservatives and especially Social Conservatives. Rush has confirmed this fact on many occasions. I will no longer be a sheeple for their agenda. The gop/e have so distorted this primary process and so corruptly manufactured open primary states and played fast and loose with the Elector process and conspired with the Secretaries of State in several states to keep competition off the ballot and to protect romney... that I refuse to reward their treason with my vote for THEIR choice of candidate.

It is not that I will not vote for romney... I cannot vote for romney. The man is evil... he is a baby killer... he is a gun grabber... he is a socialist liar and as far as the justices that he will nominate... I look at the crap he put on the bench when he was governor. When asked why he only appointed 4 republicans during his tenure... he stated that he had to nominate judges that the dims would approve of... and he will do exactly the same as President. Is he better than obama... well anyone would be but we are talking .020 of an inch difference and not feet. We also have to stop supporting those leftists in the republicon machine that keep stealing our primary elections with their corruption. We either seize the republican party and revamp it or create a new party and destroy the republicans... either way... the days of "business as usual" are over for many of us.

But.....please, no remorse or regrets when Dictator Obama steals your freedom, your liberty, your opportunity, your country from you, your family, your loved ones, as he surely will when you allow him to be re-elected!!! Have a great day!!!

And Obama is still perceived as a moderate because no one will say “socialist”. Now we have 3 years of experience to base the accusation on, and they still can't say it. And people on the Right criticize Obama because he won't use “war on terror”, but prefers “man caused disaster”. I really wonder if there is much light between these parties anymore. Anyway, I appreciate your calm reasoned argument. We'll get to see who's right.

You really think so? I think there is a bunch of buyer's remorse out there by swing voters who voted for him in 2008. I only hope our nominee is able to take advantage of that.

Maybe this is the difference. I don't think Obama has been a moderate at all. And I think the best way for a Republican to regain those swing votes and win is to stake out a rhetorically moderate position, while pointing out all the wacky things Obama has done.

Again, I have my doubts about Romney. But rheteorically, on capitalism, free markets, etc. he's been right on the money in this primary.

Just because a Conservative does due diligence and researches a candidate, in this case Richard J. Santorum, and discovers that said candidate is a pathological liar, a thief, and a hypocrite it doesn’t translate that same Conservative would support another candidate who is, in fact, a Fascist (Romney).

You, and a host of others, have not adequately researched Santorum. Instead you’re using Alinsky tactics to tear down another Freeper who has done so.

Shame!

The VERY WELL RESPECTED Rasmussen has Rick Santorum ahead in PA.

So who ya gonna believe, the liberal PPP, or the pollster, Rasmussen, with it’s excellent track record?

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

“I just got off of a conference call with an upbeat Rick who plans to win his home state.”

Thank you!!!!

Rick won 4 out of 5 times in PA, a Blue state. Even many liberals like honest politicians, plus there’s conservatives in PA, too.
