I disagree. I could tell which way they were leaning. The Broccoli question(that is what I call it) by Scalia was very telling. The way Obama has lashed back is very telling that he is concerned that his bill is going down in flames
“The way Obama has lashed back is very telling that he is concerned that his bill is going down in flames”
Speaking of telling? Picture this: late night phone call from or to Kagan after the first vote. You think she wouldn’t leak? After not recusing?
Any wonder the liberal world is aflame in outrage? The wounded animal shrieks.
You aren’t thinking.
Of course the questions tell you “how they are leaning”. But they do not indicate the result of their leaning.
Obama’s assault would only be made if he lost. If he didn’t know the answer, he might be punky and arrogant - but he has gone balls out - to the point of the Left thinking he went too far wuith his comments.
His assault - on the credibility and authority of the court - is EXACTLY the wrong type to make - if he thought he had won by one vote.
Their questions indicate their intent. His comments indicate the result.
