.....daily broadsides continue to be fired at Romney from within our own ranks...... He is the hand we’ve been dealt. We can either play it or watch this country go under with four more years of the one.

I agree 100%. But, a lot of people on FR are angry at Romney right now and say they'll vote Third Party of not vote in the Prez election. Some will stay true to that, but most of them....their heart will not let them pass up an opportunity to save this nation from destruction at the hand of a Marxist and they will vote for the GOP nominee. The anti-Obama voters who sit it out, will not be enough to make a difference in the election. We think sometimes that FR is a microcosm of America, but, it's not.

if I could clarify....

I am for the idea of a Conservative third-party candidate mainly because even GOP insiders appear to believe that Romney cannot win.

And if they are saying that now, I don’t trust them not to take a dive. I tend to believe that they did with McCain anyhow.

IF we can see a serious movement for this party to think it can win with Romney, and IF he is willing to take some steps over to our side, I would certainly be willing to vote for him in order to defeat Obama.

But I am not willing to throw my vote away if the GOP leadership has already quietly conceded. In that case it’s on to my next-best objective, which is purging RINOs.

We keep putting off this confrontation with the GOP establishment and cannot continue to do so forever.
