We are doomed. Witness the death of the grand old party and the birth of a new moderate to liberal republican party vs a left-wing radical democrat party.
America will never rebound in my lifetime and this is the legacy we are leaving our children and grandchildren. Memories of a once great nation being brought to it's knees. I don't know which feeling is stronger...sadness or anger.

I feel the same way. The impending demise of the GOP is reflective of that of America as we know it.
Remember how tall we stood when Reagan led the country for those eight great years? What a blessing it is to have experienced that wonderful era. God bless President Reagan for that final brilliance as the Shining City on a Hill. We were never the same once he left office.
But what a great run we had...

Witness the death of the grand old party and the birth of a new moderate to liberal republican party vs a left-wing radical democrat party. A Romney flop in the election and four years of a backlash against a lame-duck, Marxist President will make it clear that the Republican party and nation needs to return to conservatism.
