Actually, I just found that one here a few days ago.

My great-great-grandfather Andrew was born in Ireland in 1840; I suspect I owe my existence to phytophthora infestans.

Interestingly, the students at the local high school call themselves the Saxons.

My grandfather on my Dad’s side hailed from County Cork. Irish to the core. He was a traveling liquor salesman. Died of cirrhosis of the liver.

My mom’s side was Bayou Cajun. Now there’s a combo - Acadian-Gaelic.
