I live here. There is no brewing racial tension at all. The beating of the homeless man happened quite some time ago and never garnered a FRACTION of the attention that this obama/race issue is.

Julius Bender, 18, and Yahaziel Israel, 19, are charged with attempted homicide, burglary with assault or battery and armed burglary in connection with the March 26 beating.

Officials said the two beat the 50-year-old victim with a hammer inside his vehicle.

The pair then took him to a wooded area near Beardall Avenue and Lincoln Street and continued beating him, said deputies.

You live there, you probably have a handle on the situation. Found two articles that mentioned the two incidents as rationale for questioning the police on the Zimmerman release. Maybe others in the community paid more attention to the issues than you did. Are there people in the AA community that are not trustful and/or holding a grudge that you don't know, that are not confidants of yours?

Zimmerman was involved. According to the family letter he was the only non-AA to attend the community meeting where concerns were voiced, where the insistence for the arrest of the LT son was demanded. He understood there was a problem and tried to help. Denial takes many forms.

At least the community now needs to have an open dialog among themselves without the interference of the REV, MSM etc. Salute the police department and state in temp replacing members of their staff to help defuse the issue.
