The Romney campaign, renown for its oppo-heavy strategy, didnt even have an oppo book on Rick Santorum a few days before the Iowa caucuses, so surprised were they by his surge. Jon Huntsman nearly decided in November to leave the GOP and run as an independent. And before one of the debates, Rick Perry sang Ive Been Working on the Railroad in a restroom. These details are from Mike Allen and Evan Thomas new e-book, Inside the Circus, as are these additional factoids below.

More reasons why I am now after reading these excerpts 99.99% not voting for Romney in November. This used cars salesman needs to be stopped or we will just be getting more the same every four years. I am not going to let the GOP establishment treat me like some battered spouse.

Huck and Palin...what a dream that would be....
as voting..I will vote for any one but OBAMA. He has just about destroyed a once PROUD and great Nation...another four years and we will be all destroyed.

This article does a good job showing what a prick Romney is.
I’m almost going to like it when he gets slimed by the MSM and Obama machine.

If Wall street donors bought that line of bull, I'd pull my money from those guys. Huck is wholly owned by FOX, and he's been dutifully carrying Mitt's water for a while now. I agree with the part that Romney sucker punched Santorum in the debate effectively. Rick made the mistake of worrying too much about losing instead of taking Romney out when he had him on the ropes.

“[O]n March 14 and 15, Romney had raised over $3 million in New York and Connecticut.
The Romney campaign had a clever pitch for the event. Schmoozing with his money pals before the events, a Romney fund-raiser pointed out that slightly more than half the delegates to the GOP convention at Tampa are evangelicals. These true-believer conservatives are averse not only to Romney but to semi-reasonable types like Chris Christie and Mitch Daniels. As a result, said this fund-raiser, the responsible Republican guys are starting to realize that at a brokered convention its not going to be Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio or Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan, a ticket they could really love. Its probably Huckabee-Palin or Palin-Huckabee. That was enough to scare the Wall Street crowd into getting out their checkbooks.”

I
knew it all along that it just had to somehow be about Sarah Palin.
Romney had to first destroy her candidate, Newt Gingrich.
Dear God, GO NEWT and let's get the brokered convention!

I know what you mean. Ever since I reached voting age, I’ve supported and vocally defended the GOP nominee, even when they were pretty lacking (which has all too often been the case). But if Romney is the nominee, when Obama and his media minions start flaying the skin off of Romney... I’m sure not going to give a damn. I might even get some dark, residual enjoyment out of it, especially when I think back to how this bastard Romney and his GOP-e backstabbed Palin and the whole Tea Party movement.

OBamney is not the Nomniee yet.
Many candidates have been decided at the convention. Lets make this one of of them!
Go Sarah! Together we can knock Mitt of his high horse. The Liberals on both sides fear you!

What this proves is what Ive already known for a long time, Romney is a mega douche bag! Not a real shock to me, he’s always been kind of scummy..gee and people wonder why Romney just can’t get over that hump
To: C19fan
I don't think Sarah would ever play second fiddle again. Besides Huckabee is too heavy to drag across the finish line.
