When McCain paid the conservatives back for dissing him in 2000 by winning the GOP nomination without their support and then losing miserably to the first true Marxist to win the presidency his attitude was—”Screw you! I'm John McCain and even if America burns I got my revenge.”

Mitt Romney is playing the same game for his loss in 2008—he wants to lose—cause he knows he can't win— to Obama in order to pay back the conservatives who rejected him back then.
