Interesting! I don’t know dick about Merryland voting rules except how to use their Diebold voting machines. Mrs S doesn’t remember ever seeing the candidate by the delegate’s name or back up delegates either. Must be new rules, you know how Libtards like new rules.
The voting rules for YOUR CONVENTION to elect delegates, is written by YOUR LOCAL ELECTED GOP OFFICIALS...Not Libtards (although many in the GOp ARE libtards, I will grant you that ;-) LOL
Alternate delegates go to the convention, in case the elected delegates do not show up and BELIEVE ME that happens more often than not! After the credentials report is read...any unfilled seats your area has from “Elected delegates” not being there...those seats can then be filled by your alternate delegates, thus insuring you have the optimum number voting for your area. (clear as mud? ;-)
