Hmmm.... That coming from a constitutional scholar? There are three branches of government within the United States of American. Executive, Legislative and the Judicial. When our forefathers established this it was to make checks and balances on government.

I agree, but I have to wonder why so many FReepers were thrilled when Gingrich announced that, as president, he would ignore Supreme Court decisions he disagreed with. Everyone seemed to think that was a peachy precedent to set.

Now, not so much.
