There will be a lot of upcoming retirements. If he’s in the next 4 years, all the libs who retire get replaced with Sotofatasses or Boatload Kagans. All the conservatives who retire get replaced with Sotofatasses or Boatload Kagans.

Then the court will have no judicial activism because they will all be liberal and when liberals do judicial activism, it’s not judicial activism.

This is what is going on. Start getting prepared. We have to make sure our cnadidates pledge to nominate only strict constitutionalists to the SCOTUS and EVERY position underneath it. No moderates or liberals anywhere. We are already swimming in them and are suffering for it, some for decades now.

He may come back and float something like the FDR Court Packing Plan. FDR was losing all challenges to the New Deal before he floated that one. And even though he did not get that, his effort managed to intimidate SCOTUS enough that, lo and behold, they suddenly started finding the New Deal was Constitutional.

It would help him on the contraception issue—he would have reassured his base that he cares about their concerns, and get the Catholic bishops to shut up since they would be off the hook.

You give him more credit than me. I hope it doesn't happen, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised to see a SC Justice follow Breitbart between now and June.
