SANFORD, Fla. -- FBI agents on Monday were questioning potential witnesses in the Trayvon Martin shooting, confirming to NBC News that the agency had begun a "parallel investigation" that focuses on whether the teen's civil rights were violated.
Agents are seeking information on George Zimmerman's background and whether he was racially motivated when he pursued Martin after calling a 911 police dispatcher about his presence in the community, an FBI official told NBC.
The agents were at the Retreat at Twin Lakes, where Martin was shot dead by Zimmerman, the gated community's neighborhood watch captain.

There were two (2) witnesses that saw Zimmerman on the bottom and calling for help...one was John (interviewed on local TV), the other was Austin Brown, the 13 year old black boy, who was interviewed by ABC (not sure if local or national).

Forgetting this case since the evidence isn't all in for us spectators, as a general rule how many times do I have to have my head bashed against the concrete before manslaughter transforms to self defense?
here we go! the feds are just looking for one racial slur or joke and that will be used as evidence for arrest on suspicion of a hate crime. I’m thinking ‘stand my ground’ will more likely apply to the FBI themselves than to some flash mob in the future.
Who wants to get audited by the IRS or have the Feds look into every aspect of your own personal or professional life?

What NBC did was tantamount to screaming “fire” in a theater
actually, since it went national, potentially far far worse. The FBI is looking for something to hang on Zimmerman
now. What are the odds they go after NBC ?

Good. Obama is gearing up his own Duke Lacrosse case. Maybe he can end up disbarred and with a criminal record, just like those prosecutors.

Last night, on the local Jackson, Mississippi Channel 12 News cBS affliate, they called it “the MURDER of Trayvon”!

His lawyer was in Jackson to meet with the NAACP and other “civil rights leaders”.
Right or wrong, it would be a great case for a publicity seeking prosecutor to go after. What was that prosecutor who went after the Duke Lacrosse boys? Oh, yeah, he got humiliated and fired for his publicity hounding.
I hope justice is done and Zimmerman isn’t lynched.
