Dude - I don’t know you but please...

The House and Senate primaries had to wait until the redistricting was approved by DOJ.

I’m sure had the State Board of Elections had their way, there would have only been one primary. But the presidential primary was held because of issues related to the presidential race. The House and Senate are being held in June because of redistricting.

We won’t have the primary for the governor’s race until next year since that election is November 2013. It depends on the locality - usually they try to have primaries when there are other elections going on - it’s expensive and reduces turnout to run elections piecemeal.

Try to keep up.

Dude, you Virginians can’t keep up with your own state-level political elites’ shennanigans; scattering their primaries throughout the year to rig the results. Why should people from the other 50 states try to?

Here is a reason for you people in Virginia should demand a single unified primary date; having to have them scattered out is “expensive and reduces turnout to run elections piecemeal”.

Oh yeah, you said that.
