Ah, yes. A magic petition.

Where did so many Americans get the idea that petitions not already required by law are worth the paper they're written on? It's really a childish belief.

A petition may only be worth what the holder justice department wants it to be worth. In Mississippi we secured more than enough certified signitures to get Voter ID on the ballot where it passed with over 65% of the vote but it is apparently not going to be in effect for the 2012 election because it is being held up by the holder doj.
