unfortunately, the feds don’t use FMJ rounds for training, like most local agencies. FMJ rounds tend to be a bit cheaper.

The feds use the same ammo for duty use and for training, hollow points. As if anyone can tell the difference.

The guns were turned on the politburo and the politicians in Russia... DO we not love Liberty and Freedom better than Russia? Of course... parts of our Military will side with Citizens... some will not. I think everyone underestimates the love of the Republic in certain areas of this country. It reminds me of the movie Casablanca... where Rick tells a Nazi Major who asks if Rick will be neutral when the Third Reich invades New York:

“Major Strasser: Are you one of those people who cannot imagine the Germans in their beloved Paris?

Rick: It's not particularly my beloved Paris.

Heinz: Can you imagine us in London?

Rick: When you get there, ask me!

Captain Renault: Hmmh! Diplomatist!

Major Strasser: How about New York?

Rick: Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn't advise you to try to invade.”

I agree with you on the AFJ...

weird how, if there are say 50 different posters, there are varied degrees of seriousness versus AFJ-ness.

“We are being overthrown. Its happening because most of our so called representives have gotten to comfortable as if they our part of the royal family.”

It is also because the American people have become comfortable with the nanny state. In the US, the poorest of the poor have government benefits allowing them to live better than the middle class in most countries. A third or fourth generation family living in government housing has free food an health care as well as subsidized or free housing. Their utilities are also subsidized including free telephone service, cable TV and internet. They likely own one or more large screen TV’s and may own an automobile. Their children are educated at no cost by the government, assuming they bother to attend school. Society makes no demands on them, they are not accountable for raising their children or how they spend the largess given to them by the state. These people have no incentive to lead productive lives and they have every incentive to vote for more free benefits. When your highest aspiration is a roll in the hay or some blow, the chains of the state are not noticeable. Freedom to the is indulging in the pleasures of the flesh with no repercussions. For this reason, the left is extremely passionate about free birth control and unlimited abortion.

True enough that we have certainly been a lot politer with our Political scoundrels than our forefathers and foremothers were. I think those days are numbered, however. Meanwhile how do I not pay my taxes in protest when the money goes before I see it? Back when people really were free in this country, this never would have happened to them.

At the beginning of the American Revolution, a minority were in favor of war to get the Brits out. There were the Loyalists to the British Crown to deal with (who ultimately had to leave for Canada or go back home unlike now how we let our enemies remain). There were those who just didn’t want to get involved in the conflict even though they didn’t like what the Brits were doing.

King George ramped up the conflict and solidified Americans against his tyranny — what King Barry is trying to do will also bring enough of us together to get the country back...now how’s that for optimism?

“I personally think we will be mired in a civil war”

I tuned on Leftist talk Radio on Friday, the Mike Malloy show. He seriously was saying the Supreme Court is now “illegitimate” and should be done away with, because 9 people should never be able to overturn law passed by congress. He also advocated another CIVIL WAR, but this time turning against “bumpkin land” as he called it and forcing them out of the Union, referring of course to the red states. And his callers were just eating it up. This is how sick and twisted and dangerous the left has got.

Sometimes the men who fought in the American Revolution went without employment, and fought without pay for a long time. Some went hungry, and some died.

At the beginning of the American Revolution, a minority were in favor of war to get the Brits out.

But they resisted, and they fought. Our minority don't.

You say they had a minority who were in favor of war, Loyalists, and "those who just didn’t want to get involved in the conflict even though they didn’t like what the Brits were doing." Seems to me we only have categories 2 and 3. Both very, very well compensated for their submission, particularly the Loyalists who are compensated richly by the money referenced in paragraph 1 above.

As the wise old Indian said, the wolf that wins is the wolf you feed.

Go to their web site and check out the massive number in each state, far many more than are needed for illegal immigrants. http://www.ice.gov/detention-facilities/

So I went and looked, and for NJ at least every facility listed appeared to be a long standing local facility. Here they are, all six of them:

Bergen County Jail
Delaney Hall Detention Facility
Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility
Essex County Correctional Facility
Hudson County Correctional Facility
Monmouth County Correctional Institution
I'm not sure what the big deal is.

To your first point, I realize that. I am reading a book about the Wives of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence and there was no small amount of suffering among those Patriot men and women.

Our independent spirit has been badly damaged, and the wolf I feed is the one that says Get Prepared. This is going to get ugly.

Check out the "satire news" threads sometime. Amazing how many respond to the headline without considering the source material at all.

It won’t be the 300+ million weapons in the hands of 100 million American. It will be an over whelming force against 50 gun owners in one county with radio and TV blacked out and phone and Internet turned off and when that fifty are dead they will move on to the next county and the next and the next. Without effective communications “we the people” will be severely handicapped and ultimately dead.
The time to get effective communications up and working in a way they can’t stop is right now! because it’s coming soon.

You’re exactly right.

That’s the only way they could/will do it.

Doesn’t our military use “ball” rounds instead of hollow point rounts?

Yea, I recall something about a Geneva Convention rules of war. I guess that only applies to terrorists and our enemies...

It must be perfectly alright for our government to blow American citizens apart with exploding ammunition...

Resistance is futile? Per the constitution all oath takers, i.e. "...to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." are under the control of the Commander in Chief. Even any independently or State conceived militias.

We can never bring the out of control Federal Government to it's knees with force. Non-violent, non-compliance may be the only recourse we have.

When more Americans understand the difference between individual LIBERTY and Tyranny, something good may finally happen. So.... who do you think all of the ammunition that ICE is procuring is for; an enemy, foreign or domestic? Which category might you fall under?

Non-violent, non-compliance may be the only recourse we have.

To that end, if a certain number of American people went 'Galt' for a certain period of time, it would bring this government beast down to its knees so that we might regain control. Eventually it will collapse under its own weight, taking years to collapse during which we'll all suffer terribly.

Another means to regain control would be to repeal the 16th Amendment (Federal Income Tax) through a state sponsored constitutional convention. Everyone seems too scared it will get out of hand and we'll lose even more rights but I think it is a workable solution while we still have a super majority of 'Red States'.

"Congress already seems irrelevant."

Congress has made itself irrelevant. Just consider the makeup of Congress with the likes of Barney Frank, the "Black Caucus", John "served in Vietnam" Kerry, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the wimpy, emasculated, "reach across the aisle" Republicans. Totally useless. All of them. Makes me wonder why I even bother to vote. The real problem is that these people reflect the current state of the American populace. (Yes, America is in trouble.)

Hopefully we’ll get to November,

I predict:

Summer of unrest, occupy, riots
It gets so bad Obama implements Marshall law,

Obama calls off elections until “things are under control”

I hope I’m wrong but I feel we are heading full speed towards a Constitutional crisis.
