Republicans have been rattling chains since January 20, 1989.

You are simply wrong. Republicans have slowed the march to socialism since FDR set us on the path.

They haven't been able to stop it because of USSC decisions and stupid voters, but they are completely different from the full blown marxists that the Democrats have become.

Why didn't GWB and the Republicans pass the equivalent of Obamacare when they were in power? Why didn't they pass a trillion dollar spending bill instead of cutting taxes to get us out of recession?

There are a thousand more examples of differences between the two parties whether you want to acknowledge them or not.

They haven’t been able to stop it because they did not want to. They have wanted to manage it. The GOP is Fabian left, the Democrats are Trotsky left. Both are big government, small liberty parties. Both are globalist. This was not always so, but the elements that have dominated the GOP since the sad day reagan left office have turned the GOP into a distinction without a difference, bit by bit, compromise by compromise.

The GOP will die, and it begins this cycle. History has shown there is no need for a Menshevik party.

Bush did not cut taxes. He did NOTHING to halt and significantly augmented the growth of government and that comes out of our hides one way or another, either today or tomorrow.

Bush was a disaster. McCain would have been a disaster. Romney will be a disaster. Thank the Elite GOP for this record of shame.
