I agree whole-heartedly; but there aren’t enough hunters that can afford to pay exorbitant license costs (along with travel costs for non residents) to hunt there. Loosen up the crap regulations, eliminate high costs and INVITE us hunters to come visit. We’ll gladly take care of your problem (just tell us what we’re allowed to use when hunting - rifle, shot gun and/or archery or all three) but you folks want to have your cake and eat it too, while driving up auto insurance costs!

Let me explain more fully. This is my inlaws property. We run a hunt club and we usually get our numbers. We don’t want help for our property. Reasonably we don’t want people we don’t know on the property doing whatever. Some people are honest most are not. We have strict rules about what you can shoot when. I am sure you will be happy to abide by these no matter what! Say for instance you must take a doe before a buck and you must not shoot a buck unless it is a 10 or atypical. Still want to drive hours to come hunt under these conditions? Yeah right. I am sure the world is full of honest good old boys who have absolute self control in these matters. Expect I haven’t met any yet. I am saying that deer are everywhere and collectively as a society we don’t hunt therefore the problem. I have no idea who you folks are when you refer to them. What do you mean? We are dealing with our share of the problem. Others not so much.
