Geez Mag. We were on the same page about the OG TGO on Saturday nights on CBS at 8 PM in the 60’s.
I remember dad watching the Jackie Gleason Show and Red Skelton. Think it was my bed time because I didn’t see much.

I have wonderful memories of Saturday nights...racing my brother so I could have the bathwater first (yeah, we shared the water and we arent even Liberals! LOL)...anyway...if I got my bath done first AND did my Sunday School lesson...I could stay up and watch the Gillette Saturday Night Fights with my dad....and I would use a pencil and pretend I was the Muriel Cigar Girl.......
side note.....I miss you dad! (he died 2 weeks ago...one of another in that long line of WWII vets)

Thank you for your kind words...he was one in a million...he is missed more than I thought it possible to miss anyone...but he is in a far better place......AND for the first time in over 40 years...he is pain free at last...and as irreverant as I am on FR threads....I DO know that I WILL be with him again one day , just as you will be with yours :-)
