Ah yes, IIRC it was Naomi Wolf that dressed Al Gore in earth tones, and made him up to look like Ronald Regan in his first debate with Dubya.

So, do we get to boycott Woody Gutherie, Joan Baez, Peter Paul & Mary, Lena Horne, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, et al for being “a total piece of propaganda for the Communists”?

I was hoping to see pix of Katy Perry on this thread.
Somebody needs to remedy that.

And here I thought the liberals just loved the military nowadays, since the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. That policy was the big objection liberals had to the military.
So now it turns out they dislike the military anyway. Okay...............
To: Houmatt
Hard to trust when she was seen with X at OWS sites. It sure seems like the libs are trying hard to co-opt the military. I mean, what’s with Michelle’s “support military families” agenda? Bothers me. They’re so disingenuous.

Naomi Wolf? Who the hell cares what this irrelevant Lib hack has to say about anything. Her last moment of glory was 12 years ago dressing Algore in earth tones to be more chick friendly. Boy, that worked like a charm. I'll take Perry any day over her.

After watching the video, it’s quite obvious that Ms. Perry had to have quite a bit of co-operation with the Marines to make it.
I don’t like what passes for ‘music’ these days, but I totally enjoyed the song and video. Propaganda for the Marines? It could be...and so what!

OK I watched the video and I dont see what the big deal is. Its a nice video. Glad I bought one of her CD’s for Christmas. Perhaps deep down inspite of some of her antics she has some good conservative or traditional american values in her heart.
