I found it interesting when she didn’t like it that they said she was going to hell. She wants them to be tolerant of her, like she believes she is tolerant of everyone else. But, I wonder about her level of tolerance and how pure it is. Is she truly tolerant of EVERYONE? Or is she tolerant of those she thinks she should be tolerant of, because it is politically acceptable?
I would bet that she does have a strong streak of intolerance for others that belong in different groups, we just haven’t seen it in a Youtube video.
I also think she feigns at being naive. She knows what religious faith is, surely. She’s met people who believe what their faith tells them to believe. This isn’t a foreign concept to her. She’s play acting for the camera.
She probably thinks that someone like her grandmother has old-fashioned, Christian faith and she turns up her nose at it. For Islam, she thought it was progressive of her to embrace everyone. And now, she doesn’t know what to think.
I sincerely doubt that she is capable of denouncing all of Islam just yet. She isn’t outraged enough. She will be in time. But by then, it will be too late.
