Marco Rubio Says “Yay Romney!” – Says No to Brokered Convention
Mark America ^ | Wednesday March 28, 2012

Marco Rubio endorsed Mitt Romney on Sean Hannity’s show a few minutes ago on FNC. Let me get this guy some pom-poms. I’m not interested in hearing anything more about Rubio as a Tea Party guy. He’s a Bushie. Those of you who have seen him as a Tea Party guy? I’ve got news for you: WRONGO. He was a Tea Party guy because he needed your votes to overcome Charlie Crist, not an altogether terrible outcome, but let’s not overdo this Tea Party narrative. It had also been people connected with Senator Rubio who pushed Florida’s primary forward and got out the vote for Mitt Romney in that state, with South Florida winning that state for Mitt Romney. Remember, it was Florida that caused the four early states(IA,NH,SC,UT) to move their primaries up to January.

This endorsement has been a fait accompli for some time, the only reason for its public unveiling is to afford some plausible deniability to the freshman Senator. The truth is that he’s part of the same old crowd that helped to make Florida Jeb Bush country, and still runs that state’s machine. I warned my readers some time ago that you can learn a good deal from an endorsement, and it’s usually about the endorser more than the recipient of that endorsement. This is no exception. Rubio rattled on about wanting to avoid a brokered convention.

Here’s the problem, Senator Rubio: Some of us want a brokered convention because we think Mitt Romney is a horrible candidate even when he chooses you as his running mate, as we’ve known since Florida that he will.

You’ll do nothing to improve that.

The Feeney Book

Feeney, get your book out.

Set down the name, the one Marco Rubio.

Feeney, have you written the name I gave you?

Well, strike a line through it.

That's for him, Marco Rubio.

(Joining the likes of Demint, Drudge, Coulter, Tomney, nefarious Vichy GOP, and quislings)

Never to Romney! .

Like most of the sell-outs of the formerly grand old party, Rubio has been taking Romney’s money for quite some time.

No surprises at this development from anyone in my political circles.

The Republican Party is deader than a doornail.

And to think, my hubby and I (and our Tea Party group), helped him when the Gop-e took millions out on negative ads against Marco during the senate race. Marco was in deep trouble (numerous ethics violations from the state legislature; then the Tea Party saved him-now, he gives the Tea Party the finger. he promised us at a meeting that he would not go along with the ruling establishment. ( just can’t say how bad we all feel here)

Once again.... conservatives don’t control the GOP. The establishment controls the party and their motivation is “what’s good for us”. They are not about conservatism or the constitution.

Lest we forget, the new “champions of conservatism” will inevitably remind us that party is more important than principle.

If I was Marco? A chameleon I would be. Remember folks, the establishment destroys true conservatives. I would hide like a black widow spider until there was a base around me and my fellow travelers, then we would strike and push all the libs and Rinos where they belong. To the dustbin of moderate history, who FAIL!

Believe me, I value your endorsement more than any politican and I hope that your family continues to fight for what’s right. At this point, we the people have to rely upon ourselves and each other.

Right after the Scott Brown insanity, I knew that every time a “golden boy or girl” is crowned by the conservative community, it’s 50/50 he or she is a RINO.

Rubio disappoints me. It doesn’t take long after their elected for everyday citizens citizens to become politicians.

Romney has become the litmus test and dividing line for true conservatives and Party over principle types.

In a real sense dividing the sheep from the goats.

I am making my list.

ANY Republican who supports ROMNEY while there is a Conservative or Conservatives still in the primary race, will NEVER get a signal cent in campaign contributions from me. Ever.

Congressman palazzo did the same to us here in Mississippi... I voted against him in the primary... alas far too many here just do not pay attention and he will defend his seat. I have no one that I want to vote for. Our side is really their side... Conservatives have no home... and we are hated by everyone. Well I love my fellow Conervatives and I will work hard to rebuild America with them... if there is anything left to rebuild.
