This week it's Martinsville. Fans have been enjoying the experience for the past 64 years … plenty of action, plenty of excitement on the historic oval.

Lap 374 — Jimmie Johnson is right on Denny Hamlin’s rear bumper for the race lead.
Lap 370 — Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are still side by side for second place. Johnson clears for the spot off Turn 2.
Lap 368 — GREEN FLAG: Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth are the top five on the restart. Hamlin clears for the lead off Turn 2.
Lap 362 — The leaders are on pit road. As he exits his stall, Jimmie Johnson stops, thinking a lug might have been left loose.

Hambone getting passed by JJ and Flash is happy to make it a 3-some.. and traffic ahead looms..

Was busy checking out the neighbor’s rented new Grand Cherokee. Had to rent because his 74 Olds Cutlass Supreme needs a new steering column.
Have to admit the Jeep is really cool! Way more than my 98 Durango. Jeep has no frame though and the 4WD is some kind of automatic thing, not sure I like that.
Mrs p6 is excited because Gordon was in the lead and is still in it.
It’s been a pretty clean race.. JJ and Flash both look strong
Lap 393 — Jimmie Johnson finally clears Denny Hamlin for the lead, and Jeff Gordon follows him into second place.
Lap 390 — Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin are slugging it out door to door for the lead, and Jeff Gordon is right behind them.
Lap 388 — Jimmie Johnson gets a fender under Denny Hamlin in Turn 2 and then in Turn 4, but it doesn’t stick yet.
Lap 386 — Throw a blanket over leader Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon. This could very interesting very quickly!
Lap 382 — Ryan Newman has moved into fifth place.
Lap 378 — The top-three cars — Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon — are all over each other for the lead.
Lap 400 — There are 100 laps to go. Clint Bowyer takes third place from Denny Hamlin.
Lap 397 — Jeff Gordon is keeping Jimmie Johnson in his sights, running about 4/10ths of a second back.

On April Fools Day ,, anything can happen.. but seriesly.
