There is a invalid thought, on the left, that is America lowers its threat potential, everybody else will lower its threat potential and peace will break all around the world.

No. It’s to invite attack, so that when external Communists rule here, they get rewarded, and a pat on their back.
Their “reward” will be a firing squad, in public. Then the Communists will tell us, “This is what WE do with traitors!”
If I was the left, I would BUILD UP this country, and take over China and Russia.
